At nightfall, take the funicular to Tignousa and discover the mysteries of the sky from the observatory located at an altitude of 2,200 meters.
The François-Xavier Bagnoud Observatory is one of the rare public astronomical observatories in Switzerland and offers regular astronomical evenings.
The scientific mediators will be happy to introduce you to astronomical observation using a 610mm telescope. Astronomical evenings are suitable for both novice and more experienced audiences.
In the event of weather not allowing sky observation, the evening can take place in the Tignousa digital planetarium, simulating observation in real conditions.
For established groups, do not hesitate to contact us at info@ofxb.ch for a tailor-made evening.
