About thirty heifers are expected this year and the fights will be lively and passionate. Their innocence and ardor push them to fight very freely. Very few of them don't want to fight.
All the registered heifers come from the Anniviers stables, the Sierroise region and the Upper Valais. Most of the breeders are regulars who are delighted each year to spend a friendly day while measuring the fighting values of their youngest animals.
The whole village of Niouc is ready to welcome all spectators. Car parks are provided near the arena, the post bus stops, on request, not far from the arena and the most brave ones reach the arena via the old road of Anniviers.
