In the area known as Le Vichiesso, a tsigière (chalet in an alpine pasture) reconstructed in the traditional style and its cheese storeroom.
The 1200 hectares of the Alpage de la Lée, of which 800 hectares are pastures, extend over a number of different levels from the Plats de la Lée up to the Zinal glacier, and between the river Navizence and the Garde de Bordon, Les Aiguilles and the Pigne de la Lée.
Next to the river Navizence stands Barma, where the 1948 landslide buried two chalets, Le Teinson and Le Chiesset; the tsigière and cheese storeroom at Le Vichiesso are a little higher up.
In the area known as Le Vichiesso, you will find a tsigière (chalet in an alpine pasture) reconstructed in the traditional style and its cheese storeroom, which you can visit on request. The unenclosed part of the cave, next to the cheese storeroom, contains the large pan in which the cheese was made, and there is a pigsty below the rock.
At the intermediate level, there is the Grand Chiesso mountain hut with its cellar, granary and the outdoor covered area where you can take refuge when it snows. At the higher level stands Les Remointzes, with the Combettaz, Torrentet, Grande Taule and Petite Taule chalets.
