The "Operation Geranium" association has set itself the task of preserving the tradition of "Grimentz, picturesque village in bloom" by keeping the village and its balconies in bloom.
A monument, a sculpture, a work
We need you and your ideas in order to realize, at the entrance of the village, "a monument, a sculpture, a work" dedicated to geraniums. This would be the emblem of the Geranium Operation and would incite our guests to cross the old village. Be crazy and inventive, let go!
The goals of the Association
- To launch an operation "geranium" and to sensitize people on the importance of flowering the village
- To maintain and perpetuate a tradition which dates back to the 1930's, "Grimentz, picturesque and flowery village".
- To create a dynamic around the geraniums and to motivate the people who flower to keep the mythical village of Grimentz in bloom
- To develop the floral art, to seek partnerships and collaborations

- Proposal to buy flowers and order on the internet
- Organization of the installation of flower boxes and planters
- Search for volunteers for watering
- Revalorization of the August 15 flowering balconies contest
- Organization of the geranium market on June 14 2025
- Proposals for wooden planters and for flower boxes, according to the offers of the cratsmans of the region
