DogTrekking is an orienteering event with a maximum of one or two dogs per person. It is possible to participate without a dog if you join a team.
5 formats are available:
DogTour: approx. 28km - 1500 meters of ascent
Dog Tour Special Edition : 22km - 400 meters of ascent (The DogTour distance can be shortened in the "Special Edition" by using a gondola. No scoring.)
DogHike : approx. 37km - 2100 meters of ascent
DogTrekking : approx. 65km - 3600 meters of ascent (Circular route in the shape of an 8 starting/ending at the campsite. The tour and hike together form the trekking route.)
DogWalk: max. 10km - max. 300 metres ascent (exclusively for people or dogs with disabilities, young or old) - in addition to the checkpoints, there are a few "tasks" to complete
