Tour du Val d'Anniviers by Hotels - Stage 2: St-Luc - Zinal

St-Luc > Tignousa (2186m) by funicular, then Tignousa - Zinal on foot
At Tignousa, you're already treated to a breathtaking panorama. The Hotel Weisshorn (2337m), built in 1882 and the first stop on this day's journey, is also in sight. To reach it, the solar system represented on the Path of the Planets takes you in a playful way through the Rouaz mountain pasture (Chalet Blanc 2179 m), where Saturn and its rings have taken shelter. At Chiesso (2201 m) the ascent to the Hotel Weisshorn begins, and after around 30 minutes you reach the century-old English-style hotel (2337 m).
The interstellar journey continues towards the system's last dwarf planet, Pluto. Don't miss it, after a 20-minute walk down the path. The pleasant walk continues to the Nava alp and then to the Barneuza alp (2211 m). The landscape begins to change and the descent to Zinal approaches. Allow around 45 minutes for the steep descent to the heights of Zinal.
