Walk across the top of the dam and take the small road that goes upwards to the first small plateau. Take the track on the right that climbs up towards the Alpage de Torrent. Half-way between this alpine pasture and the Col de Torrent, there is a picnic spot (with a table and benches) by the magnificent Lac des Autannes, where you can stop for a break. The final 500 metres to the Col de Torrent are a little steeper. |
