The Grand Mountet hut at an altitude of 2886m is located in the heart of the imperial crown and surrounded by prestigious 4000m summits.
Built in 1887 on the same site, the hut was enlarged in 1943 and 1996. The Cabane du Grand Mountet has 90 berths.
