Cabane de Moiry

Located at over 2800 metres, the Cabane de Moiry offers a breathtaking view of the glacier.

This mountain hut enjoys a stunning view of the Moiry glacier and its seracs. The hut is deally located at the foot of glacial peaks such as the Grand Cornier, Pigne de la Lé and Pointes de Mourti, in the heart of the Valais Alps.

The hut can be reached on foot in about an hour and a half from the end of the Moiry dam road. We recommend good hiking equipment and a rope for the most difficult passages of this steep alpine trail. The trail may be snow-covered in summer, sometimes until the end of July and beginning of August.
