CULINARY EXPERIENCES AT THE MOUNTAIN HUT
Our hut offers a menu featuring carefully selected local ingredients that celebrate the flavors of each season.
WINTER (December - April)
- Monday Evenings: Cheese Fondue – Reserve by the the previous evening.
- Wednesday Evenings: Fondue Anniviarde with marinated beef from Boucherie de la Vallée – Reserve by 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
- Saturday Evenings: Raclette with cheese from the Alpine pastures of Roua and Chandolin – Reserve by the previous evening.
Easily reach us in just 30 minutes from Chandolin’s center on foot, by snowshoe, or cross-country ski. You can also arrive by ski, snowboard, or toboggan from the top of the Tsapé lift.
SUMMER
- From July to September, savor delicious grilled meats every Wednesday evening with prior arrangement.
- Sunday Brunch: Mid-July to mid-August, join us for a brunch that includes a sweet plate, a savory plate, and a house drink. Reservations required.
AUTUMN
- Autumn brings a menu of hunting-inspired dishes, featuring carefully sourced European products and, whenever possible, local game.
- Brisolée Weekends: A traditional Valais feast of roasted chestnuts, local cheeses, dried meats, and seasonal fruits, often served with fresh grape must (vin nouveau).
SPRING
Spring is the season for unique events! We welcome you to celebrate weddings, birthdays, and a variety of courses (trail running, meditation, yoga, etc.). Corporate outings are also welcome. Contact us to make the hut your personal retreat – available in autumn as well!
