With its wide range of activities (hiking, climbing, Via Ferrata, guided tours of the dam), its restaurant and its breathtaking scenery, the whole Moiry region has become a main destination of Anniviers.
This impressive dam of 148 metres reigns supreme at the end of the Vallon de Moiry. When you reach the dam by following the 8km road from Grimentz, at first you will be surprised by the size of the dam wall. But from the top, you will discover an amazing panoramic view and a wide range of activities and attractions, including :
- a restaurant
- a via ferrata
- a glacier
- a mountain hut
- a mountain pasture
- a climbing site
The Moiry dam and its surroundings are only accessible in summer, when the road is open, subject to weather conditions. In summer, it is possible to reach the dam on foot.
