The Animal trail is the ultimate fun walk: you get to know the animal world while enjoying yourself! Educational, entertaining, and set at an easy level, this trail will delight both parents and children. From Grimentz to St-Jean, along a path that winds its way through forest and pastureland, you can participate in the following activities :

Recognising animals by examining their tracks
Spotting animal silhouettes in the forest
Finding the answers to various riddles
Learning about wildlife from information panels

Starting point: Departure in front of the Tourist Office. Take the route de la Duit in the direction of Roua. Then take the lane down to St-Jean
Finishing point: At the Gîte de St-Jean
Please note: Can be undertaken in summer and winter (beware of ice in winter!) From St-Jean it is possible to return to Grimentz by bus or on foot, following the Grand Bisse de St-Jean irrigation channel
