The Crêt du Midi is the ideal starting point for this hike rich in discoveries. Reach the Ar du Tsan (2200 m) from above through a cool and damp forest (approx. 1h40 minutes)
From the Ar du Tsan enjoy a breathtaking view of the Rhône valley. This plateau has an amazing characteristic: its meanders sculpting the swamp with amber colours and serpentine figures. From this point, the Lac du Louché at 2567m is about 1 hour and 30 minutes away. This very pleasant hike will allow you to discover a very rich and rare flora such as the Linegrettes, small flowers with cottony pompons growing in the pools. On the way back, you can follow the path on the other side via the Gouille de Potoc (2468 m) and the Fâche, whith a bird's eye view of the Ar du Tsan (approx. 1h15). To reach Vercorin, a steep path along the waterfall leads you to the Buvette de La Lé (1670 m, 1h). From there, follow the bisse leading you back to Vercorin (1320 m, 1h30).
