St-Luc/Tignousa - Chemin des Planètes n°20

Walk to the François-Xavier Bagnoud Observatory, which is 100 metres to the right of the arrival point of the funicular railway. Take the Chemin des Planètes (Planets Trail), which leads to the Hôtel Weisshorn. Twenty minutes beyond the hotel, on the Sierre-Zinal path, you can climb onto Pluto and absorb the magnificent landscape.

From Pluto, keep walking until you reach the Nava alpine pasture, and continue to St-Luc via Copaté and Le Prilett (3h - average difficulty).

Extend the walk to Zinal. The final descent to Zinal from the Barneusa alpine pasture is quite steep. You can return to St-Luc by post bus from Zinal (3h30 - average difficulty).

Return to St-Luc directly, taking the path that runs below the Hôtel Weisshorn and goes to Gillou, the Centre of Valais (geographical centre) and Le Prilett (1h30 - average difficulty).

Return to St-Luc via Les Girettes. Turn left soon afte the Le Toûno/Chiesso alpine pasture (2h - easy).
5.
Return to St-Luc via the waterfalls (cascades). Turn left just before the Le Toûno/ Chiesso alpine pasture (2h - difficult).
