First day of the Tour of Val d'Anniviers, starting from the village of Chandolin. The CarPostal bus will take you to the "Poste" stop in Chandolin (1936 m). From there, follow the Ponchèt road towards the viewpoint of Illgraben, a unique geological site in Europe. From this vantage point, the hike continues towards the Illhorn hut (2145 m), where you can enjoy a well-deserved break in this charming mountain hut. Then, take the trail of the Plan Lozier Alpine pasture towards St-Luc (1655 m), passing by the Pierre des Sauvages, before reaching the village center.
